In 1985, Tom began his journey with Word of Life Fellowship as a volunteer missionary, quickly advancing to Director of Gift Planning Ministry and Development. He then managed the Fellowship’s conference center as interim Director of Word of Life Fellowship Florida.
Tom’s expertise continued to shine at The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in 1993, where he optimized operations to enhance guest experiences. By 1999, he was revitalizing Blue Ridge Broadcasting as Executive Director, tripling its audience and budget in six years.
From 2006, Tom led as Vice President of International Ministries and Strategic Partnerships at John Maxwell’s EQUIP ministry, expanding its reach from 42 to 210 countries and building a global team of 150 partners.
After the 2006 Lebanon war, Tom co-founded Heart for Lebanon, a ministry focused on transforming lives through faith. He now serves as US Legal Representative and liaison to Lebanon’s General Assembly, while also coaching the Lebanese team.
Tom and Chris live near Asheville, NC. They have two sons and their spouses, and enjoy being grandparents to four grandchildren and great grandparents to one. Tom has also authored two books: 'Leadership in Blue Jeans' and 'Relationships Break the Rules: Rethinking Our Non-Profit Mandate'.
